Wantamnam 我地希望

Wantamnam is Vocal & Guitarist Fengyi, Guitarist Andrew Chong, Bassist Kuma Yip and Drummer Gill Mok. Influenced by music styles such as Soul, Blues, Motown, Psychedelic Rock, Reggae, Jazz, Trip Hop and Post-rock, the four young men are eager to explore Hong Kong cultures and the city life via music creations.
 
In late October 2023, the first single – In The Darkness was released and received heartening supports and exciting reviews among the independent music scene. For the past few months, other songs have been recommended and short-listed on different charts gaining widespread recognition. Wantamnam is also now one of the 10 artists under the Spotify Radar Hong Kong programme.
 
In March 2024, their first EP – Mukma was published. The intertwined composition of quietness and maniac is full of dynamics and finely merges with poetic lyrics and score-like instruments. Wantamnam’s first tour - Mukma in Hong Kong and Taiwan was always in high demand. The immersive and emotional live performances were greatly experienced and praised by audiences in both places.

「我地希望」由主唱兼吉他手逢一、吉他手Andrew Chong、貝斯手Kuma Yip 以及鼓手Gill Mok 組成；深受Soul, Blues, Motown, Psychedelic Rock, Reggae, Jazz, Trip Hop, Post-rock 等音樂影響的港島青年，致力從創作中探索香港城市文化及生活的各種面向。

2023年10月底，首支單曲〈黑暗之中〉甫推出即引發各獨立音樂人紛紛支持並給予極高的評價。過去幾個月已經獲得不少排行榜及年度榜單的青睞及推薦，並迅速成為了香港Spotify「2024 RADAR新勢力」十大音樂單位之一。

首張EP《木馬 Mukma》於2024年3月推出，時而靜默、偶爾瘋狂的編曲極具張力，詩意的歌詞與配樂般的器樂環環相扣；樂隊同時在香港、台北、台中、台南展開《木馬》巡演，專場幾乎場場售罄，其現場演出的感染力及氛圍亦深受台港樂迷所讚揚。
