Developing their musical roots in the small town of Geelong, Minnesota, the trio of Warped weren't afraid to sing about their tribulations of growing up "in the middle of nowhere" upon their 1992 formation. Being made up of Ben (guitar/ vocals), Nathan (bass/ vocals) and <a href="spotify:artist:3HAd50yqk5ADswivbp5lWf">Cris</a> (drums), Warped showcased their self-described style of "copious riffage" with their own angst of "serious rockism." Upon the 1995 release of their debut full-length Slimex, Warped averaged the age of 21 while having the chance to play with the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:6Ycrt8OjGSSFihsb0446eg">Dick Dale</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:267VY6GX5LyU5c9M85ECZQ">Dinosaur Jr</a>. and <a href="spotify:artist:0JGfqnC4eGPGcRh7WL3DQg">Wayne Kramer</a>.
