Washington, also known as W4, is a dynamic artist originally from Zimbabwe, now based in Scotland.

A blend of hip-hop and alternative rap, characterised by an experimental sound that reflects his life and lifestyle embracing his inner child, allowing his creativity to take over the world, song by song, disturbing neighbours.

His tracks are a fusion of diverse influences, Washington’s artistic persona was shaped by the diverse experiences of moving from place to place and the varied circumstances he faced. These experiences have enriched his music with depth and authenticity.

Washington made a notable entry into the music scene with the release of his debut EP, Rookie, in late 2020. His first single, "Pray 4 Me," garnered attention and set the stage for his subsequent success.

His music has been featured on prominent platforms like BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio, No Signal, Pie Radio, Reprezent Radio, and Foundation FM. He was included in DJ Target's 2021 & 2022 1xtra UK Tour with BBC Introducing, and his performances have been praised for their incisive wordplay and magnetic stage presence, with Tenement Trail highlighting him as "one to watch."
