Wasting Time

Wasting Time is an Alternative Rock Band from Adelaide, South Australia.

Originally forming back in 2019 the band consisted of Tyler Colthorpe (Drums), Jordan Dzwiniel (Lead Guitar), and Caelum Eldridge (Vocals). The band had originally been a cover band focusing on covers by AC/DC, Hockey Dad, Greta Van Fleet, and Black Sabbath. Once the idea of writing original material had come around the band had focused on writing indie rock tunes throughout its time.

The band had gone on a break till 2022 when the band introduced Bradley Vince as the Bassist. With the involvement of Bradley, the band started to push more original material and gigging around Adelaide, South Australia.

With a new member and more material being written, Wasting Time was born. The band had decided to change the style of the genre to Alternative Rock when writing their debut single 'What You Need'. The influence of Arctic Monkeys and Foo Fighters is what helped create the initial riff of 'What You Need' and in one rehearsal session, the song was born.

Wasting Time plans to kick off 2024 with more original material and gigs!!
