Wayne Adams

Wayne Adams is a musical shape shifter, part of the notorious Wrong Music crew forging out the sound of early 2000’s Breakcore with fellow artists, DJ Scotch Egg, Shitmat, Venetian Snares, Bong Ra, Drum Corps. Wayne started Big Lad in 2010 with drummer Henri Grimes their music and ethos crossing the sound of Breakcore with the Punk world. For the last few years he has also been making waves in the contemporary industrial noise scene with Petbrick alongside founding member of Sepultura, drummer Iggor Cavalera.

Recently, Wayne has released music under his own name, with 2025 seeing his first new EPs [NAME] since his debut album Drift in 2021. He has also released remixes for Goat, Tayne and Predeceased. His solo EPs explore the early sounds of Reflex records: so think Braindance, IDM and Electronica holding the heart and soul of the early artists like, Mike P, Aphex, Squarepusher but crossing it with contemporary artists like Max Cooper, Jon Hopkins and Daniel Avery.

Alsongside his own music, Wayne is primarily known for his production work, running Bear Bites Horse Studio and producing many acclaimed Metal, Thrash, Stoner, Doom, Industrial and Punk records within the London underground scene. He plays in Pet Brick, Big Lad, Cower, JAAW, Johnny Broke and Wasted Death and is based in Hackney.
