Drizzled with syrupy synth washes and wrapped in a gooey blanket of reverb, We & Lisa's wistful indie pop tunes bring to mind other dreamy Scandinavian acts, particularly the Radio Dept. and <a href="spotify:artist:0rw4cGHVwOfO4FsBsl8F3Z">the Bridal Shop</a>. Petter Hartman Magnusson (lead vocals), Ante Andersson (guitar), and Doc Ron (keyboards), all players on a local soccer team called Doolittle BK, formed the group in Sweden in 2003. The trio self-released their first EP, C'mon C'mon, the following year; half-a-dozen more self-released singles and EPs ("Keep Your Eyes Wide Open," "A Love as Strong as Ours," "Let the Wind (Take You Back)," "When You're a Boy," "Fallin," and "Ana") followed over the course of the next four years. The Nebraska-based label Series Two pulled together 12 of the songs that appeared on these releases onto one disc, 2009's Dreams Within a Dream. ~ TiVo Staff, Rovi
