Sacramento based band, Weathering, was formed in 2019 by members Elinor Carbone and Alex Acuna (Formerly of Anxious Arms). Inspired by 80’s dark-wave acts like The Cure and Depeche Mode, along with contemporaries such as Cloakroom and Nothing, Weathering carefully crafted their debut EP, “I Come Down” (2019, Sunday Drive Records). Returning in 2020 with Changing Colors via their split release with Sacramento hardcore band Ease, and closing out the year with their 2-song single "Chimera b/w Blue Dress" features a haunting rendition of their first song along with a timeless Depeche Mode cover from their Violator era.
