Dave Hedger's musical journey began in the late 80s at Big Life Records' Livingston Studios, quickly leading him to the role of head engineer at their Little Portland Street studios for five impactful years. During this time, he also unleashed his electronic vision as techno outfit Innersphere, releasing four singles and the album "Outer Works" on Andrew Weatherall's Sabrettes imprint.His compelling sound earned him tours across the UK and Europe, including a memorable live session on John Peel's Radio 1 show.
His studio expertise then saw him collaborate on production and mixing duties with influential figures like Andrew Weatherall, David Holmes, Barry Ashworth, Dean Thatcher, and Big Youth.
Since 2001, West London Deep has been Dave's evolving musical project, initially with Dean Thatcher, then Ollie Jacobs, and currently with Nick Mitchell. This venture has yielded a string of successful singles, including "You're Taking Me Over" (later known as "Gonna Make You My Lover"), which garnered Pete Tong's coveted Essential New Tune status.
Dave's remixing prowess has been sought after by a diverse range of artists, including Moby, Orbital, Röyksopp, Steve Bicknell, Steve Mason, Alison Limerick, Apollo 440, Kosheen, The Dub Pistols, and Dino Lenny
As a globally recognized DJ, Dave has graced the decks at iconic venues from Glastonbury to Ibiza's Space, and his talent was further highlighted by a feature on Radio 1's Wall Of Sound Essential Mix in 2003.
