Blending pensive lyricism with driving guitar rhythms and full-band energy, West Street have been defining and strengthening their sound against the backdrop of West London for three years.
Formed in school the band consists of Bobby Norris (lead vocals), Aaron Cook (guitar), Harrison Blumfield (bass) and Archie Hewson (drums and backing vocals), the band have gained a strong relationship that glues both their music and live performances together. Each member carries their own unique and different styles, with influences ranging from Fleetwood Mac to Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and when put together, the band have developed a cinematic sound that captures the intense emotions their songs delve into.
West Street released their first single, ‘Here I Go’ in March 2024, whilst still in school and it was praised both locally and internationally, featuring on Dave Gilyeat’s BBC Introducing show on BBC Radio Berkshire & Oxfordshire.
Making their live debut at The Bedford, the band have had an extensive run of shows in London that have carried them from 2024 into the new year, performing at venues such as New Cross Inn and The Half Moon to great acclaim.
Since then, the band have been planning and preparing for their next year together, with their greatly anticipated second single, ‘Eden’ being released on 14th March 2025.
