Whesli

Whesli is a multifaceted talent & free spirited artist from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She’s a musician, singer, songwriter, that blends organic textures and instruments with modern production, accompanied by heartfelt lyrics and melodies.

Since a young age, Whesli’s passion has always been to create and perform authentic, soulful music for anybody that would listen. Growing up in an unconventional lower-middle class family in the middle of America, life at times wasn’t easy for her. She was exposed to a lot of negative sides of society early on, including losing her aunt to gun violence as a young teenager. The circumstances surrounding her life caused her to dive deep into her music. Her songwriting, even though at times closely reflecting her own reality, became an escape to where she could go and release her sadness, anger and other emotions.

Only a couple of months after turning 18 years old, Whesli decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue her music career further. She started out playing small shows at local bars, but It didn’t take long for her to establish a presence around town with her undeniably sultry voice & unique songwriting. Since then she’s continuously navigated the music scene as a songwriter and a performer, opening for bigger pop artists, all while working on her Debut EP set to release Fall 2020.
