Never give up...
Immersive, provoking, and honest, White Shores, an emo-pop band from Philadelphia, has returned with their sophomore EP “Rain Upon the Glass.” Infusing elements of emo, pop-punk, and 90’s alt rock, their music unveils a landscape of a world where there is sadness, where pain is felt, but also where hope rises above it all. A world where whatever happens, no matter what, we never give up.
The band debuted in 2020 with a fierceness and honesty that has garnered them regional attention, including being featured on Philadelphia's ALT 104.5’s New Music Discovery Show. The band unveiled their unique sound on “The Decay EP” in December 2020, which featured the debut single “Face the Flames.”
White Shores began in 2020 when singer-songwriter Will Richards responded to an ad posted by drummer, Caleb Weiler. A common thread was their musical influences: Mayday Parade, The Wonder Years, and Go Radio. The new band needed a name that was relevant but also provided a sense of emotion and empathy. They landed on White Shores, a quote from the epic Lord the Rings – Return of the King. After a few more singles and line up changes, White Shores welcomed Chris Stephen into the band on bass and vocals.
On the heels of their most recent release, White Shores has big plans for 2022.
