Wildling – composed of brothers Ryan Levine [vocals, guitar] and Justin Levine [bass], with Andrew Ampaya [keyboard] and Erik Janson [guitar] – have deep musical roots in L.A., each respectively having devoted a lifetime thus far to music in their various former bands and iterations. But it was when they officially became Wildling that they started making the “big room indie rock” they’ve become known for, and after their debut performance at The Satellite, the band landed a coveted one-month residency with the venue and earned themselves a rabid local following. Within a year, Wildling secured several high-profile syncs with Donna Karan, EA Sports, and ABC’s Nashville and accompanied Young the Giant on their North American run, before inking with Warner Bros. Records earlier this year.
