Wine Fault is a noise punk trio shaking things up in Bratislava, Slovakia. They came together in early 2019. Their first EP, A Night at the Oprah, dropped on April 20, 2019, and got a shoutout in Full Moon magazine (May 2019, "Sklep" section). Their debut album, DNO, recorded at PULP studio in Bratislava with Jakub Hríbik at the helm, launched on October 15, 2020. Full Moon magazine praised their style again in February 2021, recognizing Wine Fault’s unique spin on the genre in its “Slovakia” issue. By August 2021, they were back with Oval Swing, their third release, featuring four tracks produced by Hríbik. They’d let their sound ripen and returned to the Slovak music scene in style, blending noise-rock with punk and melodic vocals on their single, West Light. Then, on Valentine’s Day 2024, they dropped Alf Life, the second single from their upcoming album, along with a fresh video. The wait was worth it - Maybe Scissors, their much-anticipated second album, finally landed in April 2024. These days, Wine Fault’s live shows pack a punch, with a pumped-up lineup featuring two guitars, bass, and standalone vocals. Their performances are pure energy and punk vibes, leaving a lasting impression every time they hit the stage.
