With Lions

With Lions is a musical group and production duo who splits their time between New York City and Baltimore, where they have been writing for artists and composing music for TV and Film for years. Comprised of multi-instrumentalists Christian Celaya and Woody Ranere, With Lions’ expansive sound reaches across alternative rock and indie with occasional electronic and urban influences that reflect their diverse backgrounds and taste.

Formed after Celaya and Ranere met while on tour as guitarists and singers with their respective bands, With Lions released their debut EP Touch the Sound in 2011. Since then, With Lions has quietly built a reputation as DIY artists who have found success in recorded music, touring, and sync licensing. Music from their releases has been prominently featured in TV shows like CSI, Gotham, Shameless, Elementary, Riverdale, Lucifer and various other ads and film trailers.

In 2017, With Lions added an auxiliary member Josh Thomas (<a href="spotify:artist:30C5wgn4celhRP3Tytv7R6" data-name="King Mez">King Mez</a>) to their group. Collectively, With Lions has also collaborated with artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:1gCFXILfdAiZcFAwGsfj9Z" data-name="Teri Gender Bender">Teri Gender Bender</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:1d7CbKqK4lFpKyU442bZC6" data-name="Le Butcherettes">Le Butcherettes</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:26sni4GjXXHoWkWrBkyZnO" data-name="Bosnian Rainbows">Bosnian Rainbows</a>), <a href="spotify:artist:1RLjVRaoIxtiVZiV6NNIBX" data-name="Deantoni Parks">Deantoni Parks</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:29XOeO6KIWxGthejQqn793" data-name="Flying Lotus">Flying Lotus</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4frXpPxQQZwbCu3eTGnZEw" data-name="Thundercat">Thundercat</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5MWBg16f5UYiaSlyVhzlIW" data-name="John Cale">John Cale</a>), and <a href="spotify:artist:4ANigmoglCpG6sHgfT1hkB" data-name="Omar Rodriguez Lopez">Omar Rodriguez Lopez</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:5E2rtn57BM2WPjwak4kGd5" data-name="At The Drive In">At The Drive In</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:75U40yZLLPglFgXbDVnmVs" data-name="The Mars Volta">The Mars Volta</a>). They have also worked as producers and songwriters for nationally established orchestras, further showcasing their versatility as musicians.
