WLAD is a French DJ / producer and the founder of the hedZup Records label. Of Parisian origin, he grew up in a family of music lovers. Cradled between Jazz, Disco and Flamenco, he learnt to play different percussions.
Very prolific in 2020, he released a solo EP, Full Squad, including a Remix of Rich NxT, notably playlisted by Jamie Jones in his NYE 2021 Apple Music Live. His track Straight to Abu reached the 4th place of the best Beatport sales and was in the top 100 of the best minimal / deep tech single of the year. On a good launch, he released the tune Superformer in collaboration with the very talented Djoko which also reached in just a few days the 3rd place of the best sales, and was played by the biggest international DJs.
Between label work and days in the studio and musical projects, WLAD has acquired over the years a mastery of work which allows him to always innovate. Therefore, for the beginning of this year 2021, WLAD announced the very imminent release of his very first album filled with surprises. Whether as a producer or as a DJ set, WLAD has undoubtedly already inscribed his name in the world of electronic music, and has ensured people will not finish talking about him!
