Hailing from beautiful Lowell, Massachusetts, WLKRZ (pronounced Walkers) is a power pop band formed as a studio project in 2016 by bassist Dillon Higgins & singer/guitarist Philip Salemi. By 2019, the group had expanded beyond the studio; adding Sean Gallagher on drums, Brendan Sullivan on rhythm guitar (no longer with the band), and Peter Gavriel on keys. They are no strangers to the local scene with members playing in past & present groups such as Class Struggle, <a href="spotify:artist:0Hnn8zlAQsLbhkkPAkJm7i" data-name="Subpunch">Subpunch</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6jVCBKV0Olf40n3V0kBqS7" data-name="Rüe">Rüe</a>, The Lion’s Share, <a href="spotify:artist:377Sp9NZ4E72iZGv5rHX1l" data-name="Spoke Card">Spoke Card</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:2RNEWR8XjP0NFom9TjG1dn" data-name="Caught Dead">Caught Dead</a>.
