Wolfendale

After the success of their debut album 'Foghorn', Wolfendale disappeared from the radar for a while. During that period, a lot of work was done on a suitable successor to 'Foghorn'. Just before the completion of the second album, the band decided they were not happy with the material; there appeared to be a need for more research. A new impulse came in the form of a new studio built from the ground up by the band themselves; a playground to further develop the multitude of musical ideas and stories. They delved deeper into the ever-expanding Wolfendale universe and returned with PERISCOPE. With the new album Wolfendale shows a different sound. Still recognizable but this time combined with an invariably dark undertone, they also started experimenting more with synths, samples and electronics. The lyrics are more direct and personal.
