Creating their music solely through online communication, WWWINGS are an experimental electronic group consisting of individuals from post-Soviet countries. The collective's startling tracks are dark, volatile, and punishing, but their aggressive blasts are suspensefully paced, unpredictably erupting from the dark. Their style is a futuristic blend of deconstructed club styles incorporating grime, trap, and industrial. Initially consisting of Lit Internet and Lit Daw, WWWINGS emerged in 2015 with two online EPs (Blessed and 3000) in addition to Lit Internet's solo album Angelysium. Eventually Lit Eyne (formerly Lit Empty) joined the project. In 2016, WWWINGS released a free online album called Phoenix, as well as their first physical release, a 7" EP titled Meta on the Infinite Machine label. Planet Mu then signed the group and issued an extended vinyl version of Phoenix, retitled Phoenixxx. Lit Eyne left WWWINGS due to personal reasons, and the remaining two members changed their monikers (Lit Daw became AWRWSW and Lit Internet adopted the alias GXXOST). The duo released the 18-track digital album A+G in 2017. ~ Paul Simpson, Rovi
