Wyte Mic, born Aaron Peterson in Salt Lake City, Utah, is a lyric-focused hip-hop artist shaped by years of poetry, freestyle sessions, and an unwavering dedication to the craft. He began writing rap in 2007, and by 2009—after joining a freestyle cypher on his first day at a new high school—he earned the name that would follow him throughout his career. From that moment, daily rhyming became a lifestyle.
Wyte Mic’s music draws from an eclectic blend of punk, alt-rock, EDM, boom bap, battle rap, and indie influences, resulting in emotionally honest storytelling rooted in real experience. A major turning point came in late 2024 when he discovered the Rap Fame platform, reigniting his drive through daily challenges and a thriving creative community.
