XCELLENTÉ is a Cameroonian born musician, producer and cinematographer . xcellenté started music at the age of 12 shooting and directing his own music videos taking after his father who is a renowned Cameroonian musician . having been signed to a couple of major Nigerian music labels , xcellenté has been able to break into the Nigerian music industry with his unique style of makossa music and currently own his own label " Rapid afriq " with head office in lagos Nigeria. being a Cameroonian, xcellenté has achieved some remarkable feats like being the 2022 face of the Nigerian breweries brand Tiger beer and being recognised as a member of the copy rights society of Nigeria ( COSON) . XCELLENTÉ'S hit single "Ko le baje" was used as the official carnival song of the prestigious Calabar carnival
