Xeero

Kamogelo Thage, known by his stage name Xeero, is a 22-year-old rapper,
producer, and songwriter from White City, Jabavu in Soweto. Rooted in the
raw realities of township life and inspired by the sonic landscapes of artists
like Emtee, Flvme, and Travis Scott, Xeero brings a unique blend of
emotional depth and melodic trap to the South African music scene.

His musical journey began in 2016, penning lyrics to YouTube beats and
experimenting with flows. What started as a bedroom hobby quickly
transformed into a calling. Now self-producing his work, Xeero creates
music that’s spacious, introspective, and vibey — even when the subject
matter is heavy. Whether freestyling or writing, his creative process is
deeply driven by feeling and lived experience.

Xeero has independently released two albums, a mixtape, an EP, and several
singles — all available on major streaming platforms. He’s also collaborated
with emerging talent, worked on visuals, and performed in various local
settings. But for him, success goes beyond streams and shows — it’s about
