Xero began producing in March 2015, however began as a DJ in South-West Ireland. Garrath Burke-Weigt (Xero) had a fond interest in music from a very young age. With a powerful sound in his productions, he is well known for his groovy house tracks and for lots of energy on his live sets.
He began in Cahersiveen, throwing parties in the back bar of his local pub, The Anchor however his career really kick started when he moved to Cork and signing up local residencies in Cyprus Avenue and most recently, Sketch. One of Cork’s hottest new cocktail bars.
With the support from all the big names on the game, Xero has also played many clubs & gigs across Europe, most recently in Itaca, Ibiza as well as producing monthly mixes for RTE Pulse and Spin SW.
Xero most recently shared the stage with Deadmau5 at Live At The Marquee in Cork, alongside Ejeca and Al Gibbs. He has supported massive acts such as Patrick Topping, Alan Fitzpatrick, PAWSA, Mella Dee, Joel Corry, Michael Bibi & Sonny Fodera to name a few & made regular appearances at festivals such as Houseworks & Indiependence Festival.
His productions have racked up well over 15 million streams online and have been signed to numerous international labels such as New State Music, blanc, Blindsided, Stashed, Universal, Futurism & Sleepless Records.
