Singer and producer Yael Blankstein, aka Yali Blank, is one of the most unique artists to appear in recent times on the Electro-pop scene.
She began writing songs at a young age while still learning in a conservatory for classical piano. Soon after, she learned composition, production, and sound design.
Delivering a live experience closer to performance art, she carves out beats from keyboards and synthesisers, improvising each one to accompany her soft vocals. Writing for leading brands, advertisements and media stations, Yali’s sound has been found on Netflix shows and prestigious blogs such as MixMag, CLASH, EARMILK and KALTBLUT.
Yali is a childhood bone cancer survivor. She continues to draw experience and inspiration from her bout with the disease, as she keeps on pushing her limits and boundaries. Her energy on stage is in stark contrast to her permanent disability that affects her mobility. Strength, ambition, focus, and self-esteem are where she decides to fight. Disability has no dominance in her life nor her vision of music.
