Yardsale

Yardsale, the self-proclaimed “second most rootin’-est, tootin’-est band in Louisville”, were most active from 2008-2010 before going on an “indefinite hiatus”. In their short time together, singer/songwriters Jacob Lee and Kirk Kiefer (guitar and bass respectively), along with drummer Colin Garcia, lead guitarist Chris Scott, and secret weapon/keyboardist Andrew Rhinehart created a potent stew of country twang, Stones-y stomp, catchy pop, and intelligent lyrics that baffled most but entertained those with discerning taste.

While mostly known for their energetic and enthusiastic live performances, 2010’s Knock Alley West does an excellent job of showcasing all the things that made them so rootin’ and tootin’.
