The Namibian-born R&B/Soul singer, songwriter Y’CLIFF emerged in 2018 with the release of his spellbinding debut single “Drowning In My Feelings” which is written about a relationship that ended abruptly. Since it’s release, the song has been nominated in the Song Of The Year category for the Namibian Annual Music Awards (NAMA2019), topped the BASE FM OFFICIAL TOP 10 chart for four weeks and also peaked on the ENERGY 100FM Hip-Hop and R&B TOP 10 chart. Y’CLIFF tackles the topic of love from his own experiences and that of those around him with his music and describes R&B as his love language.
He went on to release his fourth single titled “Namibian Queen” which earned him two nominations in the categories of Song Of The Year and Best Single for NAMA2020, spent four weeks at #1 on the BASE FM OFFICIAL TOP 10.
