Multi-instrumentalist Jamal R.S. McLaughlin completed a solo album between 2015-2016 under the moniker "Yes, Have Some" while his St. Louis area band Belleview took a break to raise various babies. He wrote, recorded, mixed and performed each part in his basement studio, usually between 9pm and 2am, after putting his kids to bed. Belleview bandmate, Brennan Stamps, re-recorded all the lead vocals because he’s better. They also wrote 2 songs together and recorded 2 cover songs, including a Death Cab for Cutie song called Grapevine Fires
