YGGL, a one-man band project founded in 2018 by Yrwan Garcia Léal, a former snowboarder who now lives in an isolated barn not far from Biarritz. The perfect place to brutalize his guitar with every kind of effect when there is no surf around. Swaying from the sounds of the 80's, 90’s and 2000's, VHS soundtracks of snowboarding movies. His music is simple and powerfull, made of frenetic beats and repetitive distorted guitar riffs, all surrounded by a raspy, whisky vocal.
