You Should Get To Know Us is a four-piece rockband from Nijmegen, The Netherlands. The formation of the band in 2016 soon resulted in two EPs: Faceland (2017) and Useful Casanovas (2018). Their first full length album ‘Hole in Whatever’, produced by <a href="spotify:artist:2xzMZhqKjQKfauJbeV1ym0" data-name="Sam Forrest">Sam Forrest</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:3GB6UpDZKFKtH67cWh5v86" data-name="Sewage Farm">Sewage Farm</a> / <a href="spotify:artist:5fLbJGzlYux3GBwTifMMvR" data-name="Nine Black Alps">Nine Black Alps</a>), was released early 2019 by UK-based indie label Desert Mine Music. You Should Get To Know Us has repeatedly toured throughout the Netherlands, Germany, France and the United Kingdom. Their 2019 tour will take the band further East in Europa with first-time shows in Poland and the Czech Republic. You Should Get To Know Us’ music is both loud and melodic and strongly reminiscent of the 90s slackerrock as performed by Pavement, Fountains of Wayne, The Dandy Warhols and alike.
