Japanese artist Yugo Taguchi, now based in Berlin, is a multifaceted talent in the reggae music scene. From his beginnings in London in 2010, inspired by legends like Jah Shaka and the Twinkle Brothers, to his ventures in France in 2015 spending time with artists such as Bigga Ranx (Telly) and Junior Roy, Ricky Sai Sai, Joseph Cotton etc, Yugo's journey has been a fusion of diverse musical influences. Settling in Berlin in 2016, he became a real artist of himself despite the challenges of the pandemic. His collaborative 2020 Asian tour with "Warrior Dread" was a hit. Joining forces with Blessed Love Records Shop in 2021, Yugo continues to bridge cultural gaps and spread the joy of reggae music through a curated selection of Jamaican, Japanese, and European labels.
