Yung SHOO

Yung SHOO is an independent and one of the local artists in Cebu, Philippines. He was born on 1 December 1998 and lives with a middle-class family. He grew up in a Barangay where violence and coercion was evidently seen in the mid 90's till early 2000's but it was eventually put into control under the leadership of preceding Barangay Captains. Yung SHOO wasn't a troubled kid in his earlier years, when in fact he was well-taught & well-disciplined by his father. He discovered Hip-hop at a young age and because of that he had a rough life because NOBODY encouraged nor supported him. He was different among the regular kids' taste of music and with that difference, he was called "weird" because he listens to rap music. Hip-hop wasn't relevant nor given emphasis as he grew up in his community until Junior High School. He started writing since 2016 and released his first horrible mixtape "RS plus" on 27 August 2017. He aspires to extend and influence positivity to all his fans, inspiring them not to fear of being different and be a better version of themselves. He intends to be versatile towards his music. His music is heavily influenced by various artists around the world i.e. XXXTENTACION, NF, Chris Webby and bbno$ to name a few. He wanted to spread love and to see people unite regardless of what they were born with because he believes that hatred and violence can be mitigated through love and music. He also seeks to leave a legacy where people can find resolve from his life.
