Foot-stompin, banjo driven, folk twang with a splash of pop. That's the promise of Zack Ingles' latest project "Get Ahead." From the rural valleys of New Brunswick comes the singer-songwriter who has drawn sonic comparison to Neil Young, Mumford & Sons, and Noah Kahan.
Ingles' ability to explore complex and often taboo social conversations by packaging them within heart-pumping 4-on-the-floor bluegrass rhythms opens the door for a timeless connection with every listener. “Get Ahead” (June 2024) has received praise from every corner of Canada; including national airplay on CBC Radio 1 and 3; with the title track being featured on East Coast Music Hour and the song “Weathered Heart” earning more than 50,000 streams to date.
Currently writing toward his debut full-length album (Releasing Winter 2026), the folk musician is beta testing new material on stages across the maritimes, and building a community of new fans in the wake.
