Zaftig

<a href="spotify:artist:0et8UAdiJ1NfHwy17vqwvE" data-name="Zaftig">Zaftig</a> is an experimental rock band from Oshawa that combines elements of garage, progressive, and psychedelic rock.

In June 2019, they released their debut EP &#39;<a href="spotify:album:2Z0xDSnafBgNJYj2RqDlvD" data-name="Flight of the Mingos">Flight of the Mingos</a>&#39; which got local radio play and embarked on their first tour of the east coast of Canada.

In April 2020, <a href="spotify:artist:0et8UAdiJ1NfHwy17vqwvE" data-name="Zaftig">Zaftig</a> was awarded ‘Emerging Artist of the Year’ by Oshawa Music Awards.

September 2020 saw the release of their second EP &#39;<a href="spotify:album:07pe0CNWDrapohC1GDuA1g" data-name="Don Diddly Don Leoni">Don Diddly Don Leoni</a>&#39;. An experimental batch of songs recorded at their home studio during the COVID-19 pandemic.

January 2026, <a href="spotify:artist:0et8UAdiJ1NfHwy17vqwvE" data-name="Zaftig">Zaftig</a> returned with a new song called &#39;<a href="spotify:track:3zI4GISmxYyD9K2pdfEZJw" data-name="40">40</a>&#39;.
