Zapatilla’s tracks are characterised by his warm yet mournful vocals and a dizzying array of instrumentation. He released his debut EP in February of this year, and lead track Crumbling Down was a Mixmag ‘Big Tune’ and picked up radio support from Giles Peterson, George Fitzgerald, Kölsch and Pete Tong. Zapatilla had a busy summer playing live at The Great Escape, All Points East, Blue Dot, Test Pressing and Lost Village.
