Zdenka Kovačiček is one of the most significant and eminent figures on the Croatian music scene. Since late 50's she pursued her career as a brilliant jazz-rock, blues, gospel and pop singer sharing the stage with stars like Bill Halley, The Kings, Ink spots and Peter Kraus. During the years she became the best female rock vocal and her charismatic image maintained as a feature of her appearance to this day. She was claimed by rock and jazz fans, her interpretations where considered a recipe for success at blues and soul festivals. Homage to her work has been shared by many - from Nipplepeople who once again returned "Frka" on radio charts, to Karl Lagerfeld who introduced "Elektra" from 1976 to the Paris fashion world. Her legendary enthusiasm has always helped her to deal smoothly with most of the concert activities and recording projects she was involved in. In year 2019 she topped the radio and singles charts with her songs „Pozitivan primjerak“ feat. Mirela Remi Priselac and „Adut“ published by Dancing Bear Records. New album „Konstatacija jedne mačke” will be released in the first half of February 2020.
