ZÉ

ZÉ (Pronounced: Zey) is a creative being, a Songbird, a Wordsmith, a Graphic Designer, a Recording & Performing Artist. She’s inspired by powerful vocalists and songwriters such as Florence Welch, Sia, Nina Simone, Robert Plant, Joni Mitchell & Benjamin Clementine to name but a few.


Having worked in various genres she believes that music should not be placed in a box. Her music ranges from minimalistic acoustic sounds to film-esque layered soundscapes. She strives to create emotive, music allowing escapism & adding a little bit of beauty to the world.


ZÉ’s music career first took flight as the lead singer of the harp & vocal duo LU FLUR, with harpist & composer Jude Van der Wat. The award winning & critically acclaimed EP, Floriology was released in 2013, followed by a Remix of the single 'Future Tides'. ZÉ released 'Solivagant Lights', her debut single in 2017.


ZÉ ventured into the world of House music, joining forces with DJ/Producer, AJourneyOfMilez. She performed & co-wrote multiple tracks throughout 2018-2020: 'Words' ; 'Wild Land' & 'See You Again' where she only acted as a co-writer. The single 'Words' include remixes by N'Dinga Gaba, Eltonnick & Migosy. She collaborated with Eltonnick, on 'Shades of Blue' - featured as the lead single on his 2019 EP, 'My Wishes'. ZÉ is currently working on new collaborations with other artists.
