The Ship we’re on set sail last may
But something happened along the way
The Sun was drowning in the waves
As we looked our enemy in the face
The sky turned dark; the ocean roared
The distance grew, from shore to shore
So, just come closer, hear the tale
Of men like ghosts who raise the sails
At night you heard the prayers of men
The lighthouse never answered them
It shone it’s light on an empty beach
Miles and miles beyond our reach
