ZEN-MEN started to transduce universal thoughts using musical waves in the year 1995. Two years later, 1997 the first album “men from mars” was released. The music is the essence of years of research in e.g. BioFeedback, Buddhism, Cymatics, Harmonik (Hans Kayser), Hawking, Hinduism, Kepler, da Vinci, LIFE, Metaphysics, Overtones, Psychology, ZEN…
Set and setting are very important elements in the creation of ZEN-MEN’s music. The vocals of "une table à trois” were recorded when Caroline was pregnant in her 9th month. Movements of her unborn daughter can be heard in the original takes. This may also explain “the table for 3”…
It took 8 years to complete the 2nd album “you are home”. In 2006 “AlphawaveZ” and the “2512-Christmas” were released. In 2008 Medi-X v. 001+101, in 2010 Medi-X videos vol. 01 and "Power-Naps" followed.
A ZEN-MEN chapter closed in 2010 after the release of the album "Rue Lepic". I guess, we all learn one day or the other, that the only constant thing in this life is: change.
Fast forward, 12 years later, in 2022, a new ZEN-MEN chapter opens up with the release of the album "Hang On". It reflects my personal journey over the years and some bits of wisdom I picked up along the way.
