Hailing from Kilifi, Kenya, Ziller Bas is a dynamic musician celebrated for his innovative fusion of contemporary African sounds, particularly Afrobeat and Hip-Hop. Since stepping into the music scene in 2015 . Ziller Bas has made a name for himself through his original compositions and engaging live performances that resonate with audiences.
The release of the "MUGOGO! Part 1" EP in 2020, a collaboration with electronic music producer FlexFab. This project showcases a unique blend of electronic music and rap delivered in “Sweng Flow,” a captivating mix of English, Swahili, and Kigiriama. The EP has positioned him as a fresh voice in contemporary African music.
In recent years, Ziller Bas’s artistic journey has taken him to numerous festivals across Europe, starting in 2022. These experiences have allowed him to connect with diverse audiences and fellow artists, expanding his reach and influence within the music community.
One of his notable duo project with @Shmu from Winterthur #Mekatilili: The Spirit of Resilience, honors the rich cultural heritage of the Giriama community, further illustrating his commitment to storytelling through music.
