Ziwe is a comedian, musician, writer, and actress, who has taken the Internet by storm and captured audiences nationwide with her signature candor, wit, and salient commentary on race and politics in America. Named to Forbes 30 Under 30 2021 and TIME’s 100 Next Gen Leaders, the critically acclaimed, multi-hyphenate comedic voice of 2020 will host a new self-titled late-night variety sketch show, premiering on Showtime on Sunday, May 9. Ziwe will be her own musical guest in each episode, performing original comedic pop songs with iconic companion music videos. Her refreshing approach to broadcast journalist represents the renaissance of late night.
Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, Ziwe performed original pop songs such as “Ponderosa with Omarosa” and “Make it Clap for Democracy” at her hit live event, “Pop Show.” The hilarious event showcased her innate musicality and consistently sold out Brooklyn’s Bell House.
