Zizzi

From the deep south, Louisiana is what Zizzi (Z-Zye) calls home. The five-piece band aims to revive the classic rock sound while staying true to themselves and providing you an authentic musical experience. Zizzi began their journey in 2019, playing covers at small local bars. Over the next 4 years they played all across south Louisiana in efforts to build a name for themselves. By 2023 they decided to shift their focus to concentrate on recording original music. Each member of Zizzi comes from a different background but somehow through fate, coincidence, or just plain luck, Zizzi melted down each member's talents, experiences, and individual musical influences. The result was an ever evolving sound that brings the nostalgia of decades past, and a rhythmic tension that fits perfectly with the erratic turmoil of the 21st century. More than anything Zizzi aims to be original, with heavy groove, soaring vocals, memorable and tight guitar playing. For better or worse, they strive to be themselves above all.
