Zohaib Kazi a Producer, Director, Music Producer, and Author along with many feathers in his hat. He served as the Associate Producer and General Manager at Coke Studio Pakistan from 2009 to 2017. ‘Ismail ka Urdu Sheher’ (2015), which is a science fiction, a multimedia project comprising of a music album intertwined with a graphic novel that received widespread acclaim and recognition; for this album Kazi narrates a journey that is not just courageous but also one that is original and universal. The album was also nominated for the Best Music Album at the 15th Lux Style Awards.
Staying true to his originality Kazi came up with a travelogue-styled music album that reconnects and captures the folk essence of Pakistan, Fanoos was released in 2017. The album was also nominated as the Best Music Album at the 17th Lux Style Awards. His song “Takht Hazar” was also nominated as the Best Song of the Year.
Kazi returned back to Coke Studio in 2018 as the Lead Producer for the 11th season of the show expanding the program's depth by adding an offshoot module of ‘Coke Studio Explorer’, an expansive iteration of his Fanoos project. His vision achieved critical acclaim for its brave and original approach.
