Mohsin Abbas Haider, a prolific actor, singer and writer is a multitalented and multifaceted artist. Born in Punjab Pakistan, Mohsin began is career as a Radio Jockey, and to launch his singing career, he took formal training from National Academy of Performing Arts where his teacher was Ustad Salamat Ali Khan Sahab which led him to release his debut track Beparwah Dhola.
There has been no looking back for Mohsin after this and it was his role in his debut film “Na Maloom Afraad” that brought not only his acting but his singing talents to limelight where he gave playback vocals for the track “Sapno ki Mala”.
Mohsin was also part of the Coke Studio Season 9, preforming his original composed and written track “Uddi Jaa” which earned him a lot of accolades from the public.
He was nominated as Best Male Actor and Singer for Na Maloom Afraad 2 and for his track Heeray respectively, but it was the track “Na Jaa” that won him the Lux Style Award for Best Singer Male which was composed and written by Mohsin and Sohail Haider.
Mohsin has also won the Galaxy Lollywood Award as Best Supporting Actor in “Na Maloom Afraad 2”and Best Lyricist for the track “Good Luck” from the movie “Load Wedding”.
He has just released a brand-new track “Terian Lordan” written and composed by Mohsin himself, the track is a tribute to the transgender community.
