As a DJ he is known for his great taste of music and flawless mixing, blending progressive house and trance together with elements from techno to psychedelic. A unique blend of new and old, just like the picturesque town of Porvoo, Finland, where Lari Meronen aka Zwek is hailing from.

His prowess behind the decks was recognized from the very beginning, so it's no wonder that by the mid 2000’s he was considered as one of the best progressive trance DJ’s in Finland. Playing regularly in the most iconic events, like Laserpoint, Pacifique, Hallmark, Illusions, Millennium, Clinic and Sunrise - a club of his own. Needless to say Finland isn't the only country whose clubbers have had the privilege to hear him play.

Since 2005 Zwek has produced his own music and a debut single “Under The Sun” was released on the Belgian Bonzai Trance Progressive in 2007. Followed by “Space Disco” 2011 and “Burner EP” 2013 on Wavedata records.

Late 2013 he decided to take a break from active DJing and concentrated his efforts on beeing a A&R/Production Manager for Club Hallmark, one of the oldest and most respected trance clubs in Finland. But there's something magical in the booth, and once you have had a taste of that there's no returning. So now Zwek is back and he's stronger than ever.
