Though fairly short-lived in their original incarnation, Seattle's 10 Minute Warning were acknowledged as a key influence on the city's subsequent grunge movement; after disbanding in 1984, the group also later gained recognition when one of its members, Duff McKagan, rose to international success as a member of Guns N' Roses. When McKagan exited G N' R during the mid-'90s, he returned to Seattle, reforming 10 Minute Warning with original members Paul Solger Dana on guitar, David Garrigues on bass, and Greg Gilmore on drums. Recruiting new vocalist Christopher Blue, the band signed to Sub Pop and issued its eponymous debut in 1998. ~ Jason Ankeny, Rovi
