Hailing from St. Louis, MO, rockabilly revivalists 7 Shot Screamers have been tearing it up in the Midwest since the late '90s. The band consists of members Mike Leahy (vocals), Chris Powers Jr. (bass), Kevin O'Connor (drums), and Sarkes Roubanian (guitar), and has issued a single (1999's three-track self-titled release) and a full-length album (2000's I Was a Teenage 7 Shot Screamer) since their formation. In 2000, the quartet also appeared on the acclaimed rockabilly compilation Friday Night Rumble, Vol. 6 (on Run Wild Records), with the album opening track "River City Rebels." ~ Greg Prato
