80tribe is a synth-based project from Poland, started around year 2012, creating music
inspired by retro synthesizers sounds, 80's and early 90's VHS movies (mostly action and
sci-fi) also by retro computer games and other aspects of 80's culture. In his music
80tribe brings past memories to life and with use of modern music production techniques
he recreates them into something he calls "futuretro". So far there are three EP's by
80tribe: "Science and fiction", "Detectives, bad guys & fast cars" and released recently
"Futuretro". In 2017 80tribe started cooperation with RetroSynth Records, which is
independent synthwave label led by Scott Forte. In 2017 one of 80tribe's tracks was
featured on NewRetroWave YT channel.
