Anthony Carrai Jr. (AC.jR) grew up loving music. He started out making remixes of <a href="spotify:artist:1CFCsEqKrCyvAFKOATQHiW" data-name="Lecrae">Lecrae</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1TMrnxBwZfmfRxsGzkNIHw" data-name="Andy Mineo">Andy Mineo</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4c6lhwoOrmgNWvl0GxHlW1" data-name="Tedashii">Tedashii</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:77IKXFvO7SpWrq8hflrUXc" data-name="KB">KB</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:12H1Dmi64fAmmARrsyVFzy" data-name="Trip Lee">Trip Lee</a> songs and started putting them on Soundcloud, never truly believing he could create his own original music.
In the summer of 2016, while making songs and running out of acapella's of other songs, he started making his own music and getting his close friends around him to sing/rap on them. During that summer, one of his good friends <a href="spotify:artist:2GSov2kK4wpeRDrCxT6EWe" data-name="Brady James">Brady James</a> sang the track <a href="spotify:track:2PPazsJTZeEY6r8N5dF4Nu" data-name="Gunna Get Better">Gunna Get Better</a>, and friends &amp; family started to believe in him.
AC.jR wanted to collab with <a href="spotify:artist:2GSov2kK4wpeRDrCxT6EWe" data-name="Brady James">Brady James</a> and combine forces to create their own original content. Their first single titled "Who We Are", made waves in the Christian EDM world, and people slowly started to turn their attention to these two. The next single they released was titled "<a href="spotify:album:1qgRktgbUNDbJZa87xIYmB" data-name="We Were Children (feat. Lindsey Shumaker)">We Were Children (feat. Lindsey Shumaker)</a>" and this song shocked everyone. It's currently growing and now has reached over 100k streams on Spotify. Their first every EP titled <a href="spotify:album:4N53REsPxGUtyhgNRyMWk0" data-name="Vanity">Vanity</a>, was born on June 10th, involving many artists like <a href="spotify:artist:0jpSPIo9vUCJFp1CHTreTz" data-name="Jaimee">Jaimee</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:38jStfZwiNvdn1PKt9ma35" data-name="Matt Ngesa">Matt Ngesa</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1CKvKWlzzaPPPgSRXnw2U9" data-name="Lindsey Shumaker">Lindsey Shumaker</a>, &amp;amp; <a href="spotify:artist:0WjQlQ578rTHqUyqxPk0wk" data-name="Chelsea">Chelsea</a>.
