Active Sun is a Los Angeles based electronic music project consisting of Dave Mellish, Fernando Cardoso, and Kevin Seaton (Major Lazer, Snoop Lion). Over the past year they have been cultivating their sound, along with a handful of collaborators, to create songs that are meant to last, not meant to splash.
Ahead of their first official release, they have already garnered interest from agencies such as CAA and Windish and have begun taking steps towards a live show, visual & stage designs, music videos and more.
After a year playing sets at festivals (Coachella, Lightning in a Bottle) and writing over an album’s worth of material, Active Sun has settled into the studio to finish their debut collection of songs.
