The name ADAMANTA was derived from Lady Galadriel's ring, Nenya, the Ring of Adamant, from The Lord of the Rings. Aside from this and other fictional inspirations, the name Adamanta comes the word adamant, which describes the members' unwavering drive to pursue a different style of music.
