Some producers stick to a certain sound. For others though, there’s a cross-genre adventure: a variety in sound that spreads across the musical landscape. ADP is one of these producers. He’s been sent to writing camps abroad for the likes of Pitbull; he’s been involved in sessions with Guy Chambers; and even produced M.I.A’s, “Borders”.

To sit in ADP’s studio is to see a wall plastered with gold & platinum records, collected from decades long work. He’s perhaps most known for launching the career of Krept & Konan – with their ‘Young Kingz’ mixtape as well as exec-producing their debut album. ADP’s work lead to him collaborating with Yungen, noteably on their Top 10 record – “Bestie”, featuring Yxng Bane. In a nutshell: ADP has his fingerprints over a lot of pieces of work.

Now he’s steps out on his own. In 2018, we are living in the era of the producer: where the masterminds behind the music can be celebrated in the way they deserve. For ADP – who has been producing and DJing since his teens – this moment has been a long time coming. Essentially: ADP is spreading himself far and wide across music, not limiting himself to working with one particular genre, but also making a name for himself and defining his own sound. As production work goes, this expansion sets him up nicely for the future: a household name in the making, the next in a lineage of the producers he looked up to as a teenager.
